The Namaste Youth Project is an initiative involving schools and youth groups in the Leeds area and is supported by the Lord Mayor and City Councillors. It features a Celebration of Religious and Cultural Diversity with entries in the form of dance, drama, music, poetry, design or any other form of creative expression.
This is the second year of the Namaste Youth Project, with plans to run for five years. This follows an anonymous bequest, to create a project in Leeds that will inspire young people. It celebrates our religious and cultural diversity, encourages community cohesion and British Values, and respects individual difference.
